The December 2020 stats have just been released by the Windsor Essex County Association of Realtors and we are still seeing the strong sellers market continue, despite the challenges that we have faced with the covid-19 virus. The number of Listings was up 26.64% which is great for December, and Sales up 22.56% compared to this time last year. More sales and a very lower inventory results in multiple offers and higher sales prices. In December 2020 we saw the average residential sales price hit record high of $453,479. This is an increase of 35.6% compared to the same month last year. Our Year-to-Date average residential sales price was $410,840, and increase of 22.37%. The most popular style of home sold in December 2020 was the 2 Storey with an average price of $613,174.
